  1. Hi there,

Could I ask why you have put this comp at the top of your website as a new comp when it was advertised on your site two weeks ago. Luckily, the Lorraine website stated that I have exceeded my maximum entries so at least all of the previous entries will not be deleted. Could I also submit a suggestion, when linking to another website comp entry, could you enable “open link in new window” from the comp link otherwise the link just takes you away from the freetvcomp website, not good when you are making 5 entries.

    Many thanks,

    Gary

  2. Hello Gary and thanks for your comment. This competition was only announced on Monday 4 May 2015. You may have got it confused with another similar prize that was offered recently or may have gone to the wrong link for the competition entry page. Please check on this link; http://www.itv.com/goodmorningbritain/competitions?oid=1545&type=campaign&origin_type=show&origin_oid=GMB_Lorr and try again. You will not be banned, voided or have your previous submissions discounted if you exceed your allotted free entry quota. Also, I’ve changed the links so that they open in a new tab or window. I’ll also be updating the site soon to make it more friendly for mobile users. All comments are welcome especially constructive ones! So god luck with your entries and please feel free to contact me if you need any further info. Kind regards, Martin

  3. Hi Martyn,

What I think Gary is referring to is the Pink Box and link that says “Enter Competition For Free”. I clicked on that link/box and it took me to a previous competition, not the latest £40,000 cash and Jeep.

The pink box link URL currently is this: http://www.itv.com/goodmorningbritain/competitions?oid=1545&type=campaign&origin_type=show&origin_oid=GMB_Lorr

    Whereas it should be this:
    http://www.itv.com/goodmorningbritain/competitions?oid=1554&type=campaign&origin_type=show&origin_oid=GMB_Lorr

    Hope this helps.

  4. Hello Den and many thanks for contacting me. I see what you mean and I’ll correct the issue and please don’t worry about being penalized for submitting too many entries. You won’t be barred and your previous entries or submissions will not be voided.

  5. Hi, does it make any difference to chance of winning if i don’t tick the (tick to receive mail) boxes?

  6. Hi Janet and thanks for your rather good comment. With this and just about any other competition or prize draw in UK, your chances of being picked out as a lucky winner will not be diminished if you decide not to receive any marketing emails from the promoter or by selected 3rd parties. You can also unsubscribe from any email marketing that you may have accidentally agreed to. You’ll find the unsubscribe button at the bottom of most email promotions. I’ll be writing an article about this issue in the near future. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you need any further info. You are also welcome to sign up for my free weekly newsletter and yes… you can unsubscribe from it at any time although I’m not sure that anybody in their right mind would want to do so! 🙂 Good Luck, Martin.
