Loose Women Competitions & Prize Draws
ITV – STV – UTV
19 May to 5 June 2014
Loose Women competitions for TV viewers is open from Monday 19 May 2014.
Loose Women Prize Draw ITV is offering postal entry to win a tax free cash prize worth £10,000 and a gadget haul.
So it looks like the promoters are not really offering free website entry for this prize.
It could be the trend for future prize draws and comps on Loose Women!
It’s the cheapest way to enter but you’ll have to pay for a 1st or 2nd class postage stamp and that mean’s you are technically gambling!
My advise would be to never pay for entry into any competition or prize draw.
Last week’s Loose Women and other TV comps may still be open for free website entry. Scroll down to find details!
Deadline for postal entry is 5.00 pm.on Thursday 5 June 2014.
You are allowed 1 postal entry per person.
If you want to complain about no free online entry for this prize draw, send a message to email@example.com
Post – send your name and a contact telephone number (including area code if providing a landline number) to Loose Women 21, PO Box 7558, Derby, DE1 0NQ. Sufficient postage must be paid – any entries without sufficient postage will be discounted. Each sealed envelope/postcard will only count as one entry. If an entrant submits more than one entry on a postcard or in an envelope, the first entry reviewed will be used and any further entries discarded. The Promoter and producers bear no responsibility for any entry that is incorrectly submitted, lost or received after the closing date, or damaged in any way. Sourced from ITV.com

Here is a copy of the e-mail sent to itv regarding online entries:
“Like many others, we are surprised, disappointed and repelled by your decision to cease accepting on-line entries to Competitions.
Postal entries are not in any way more than a sop to the expression ‘Free Entry’, being archaic, uncertain and cumbersome.
Clearly, this is yet another ploy to circumvent competition laws and increase revenue, and you should be reproached for isolating and denying many previously supportive viewers, most of whom cannot afford the relatively high costs of telephone entries.”
Well commented Peter!
