About the show

New series. The talent extravaganza returns for its 11th series with some important changes – Simon Cowell is back on the panel for the first time since 2010, former guest judge Mel B takes a permanent role on the show and Cheryl Cole has also signed up, but she’s now Cheryl Fernandez-Versini following her whirlwind wedding in July. Show stalwart Louis Walsh completes the line-up as the experts search for the nation’s next singing sensation. As last year, there’s an X Factor double bill every week from the beginning, kicking off with the popular closed-room auditions. The minimum age for acts has now also been lowered to 14, creating more opportunities for all the budding Justin Biebers out there. Dermot O’Leary hosts. [Source ITV.com]

  1. i think its disgusting these programmes are asking for postal entries,do they not realise that things are costly and some people find it difficult with the recession .they have no consideration, for their viewers loyalty and support.they are selfish. the old have limited resources financial and mobility;then their is them with very little means, they are just part of the sqeeze.shame on them selfish inconsiderate, self centred idiots.
